The girls u18 blitzes are a genuine opportunity to develop rugby skills in what is also a competitive environment. As a top 5 womens rugby nation in the world and World Cup 2014 semi-finalists the talent and ability of Irish girls is well known. This is a great opportunity to practice in a competitive environment positional awareness, rucks, off-loads, body position, the attacking and defensive line, fast ball from rucks, territorial kicking, and the broader range of pyschological awareness, team building, how to manage the time in between games, warm ups, identifying opposition strengths and weaknesses and pro-acting accordingly.
A great fun day that everyone looks forward to!
