All members of Dungannon RFC would like to congratulate Paul Magee, Glen Telford, Neil Patterson and Michael Rainey on completing their Four Peaks Challenge. As a team of 3 climbers and 1 driver (Neil Patterson), they climbed 4 of the highest peaks in the UK and Ireland. Starting at Ben Nevis in Scotland they then tackled Helvellyn in England, Snowdon in Wales and finally Carantouhill in Ireland. This involved driving over 1,000 miles and climbing over 14,000 feet. The Done – In – Gannon Team completed this in 15 hours 21minutes 11 seconds.
The results for each climb are as follows :-
• Ben Nevis (Scotland) 5 hours 8minutes 10 seconds
• Helvellyn (England) 2 hours 33 minutes 32 seconds
• Snowdon (Wales) 3 hours 35 minutes 39 seconds
• Carantouhill (Ireland) 4 hours 3 minutes 50 seconds
