We arrived on a freezing early January morning to the sight of a large crowd of supporters who had gathered to shake off the January Blues and enjoy a game of rugby at a high level. What a better way to spend a few hours on a Saturday than a trip to Donaghadee or CI where you will be entertained by a superb game to watch played by 2 clubs who can really play.
Our visit was on the hop we had only 20 minutes. The standard was superb, free flowing expansive rugby, deploying all the skills and excellent set pieces. In those 20 minutes both sides built plays from their own 20 metre working the pitch with their line breakers kickers scrummage specialists and loose play winners to score tries.
