At a disciplinary hearing in Dublin today, the citing complaint against George Stowers, Ospreys back row forward, was not upheld.
The independent RaboDirect Pro12 disciplinary committee chaired by David Hurley, assisted by George Spotswood and Pat Barriscale (all Ireland), accepted the player’s explanation that he was attempting to dislodge the ball from the Scarlets player.
The player had been cited for alleged foul play in the RaboDirect Pro12 match between Scarlets and the Ospreys held on Friday 21st September at Parc y Scarlets.
