Tours of the distillery last an hour and finish with a complementary Dockyard G&T in the Pumproom Bar. They are available from Thursday to Sunday. These highly popular tours offer a rare chance to experience the entire distillation process from grain to glass as Copper Rivet is one of only a handful of English gin distilleries to make its own base spirit, rather than importing it. This lowers its food miles and guarantees the flavour of its spirits and the strict traceability of its major ingredients. 15,000 guests are expected at Copper Rivet in 2022 to enjoy its spirits and its beautiful views.

Copper Rivet Distillery is perched on the banks of the River Medway, with Upnor Castle on the far shore and a yachting marina at its aft. Since this summer, it has opened the new Pumproom restaurant in its eastern wing, serving modern British dishes both in its main dining room and on its riverside terraces. Its Pumproom kitchen also uses the spent grains from its distilling processes in its breads and puddings to add texture; and uses the strawberries from its Kentish strawberry gin in its cocktails and puddings.
