Clogher Valley RFC Notes: I XV v Skerries AIL Round Robin

1sts suffer heavy defeat at Skerries in first round robin game
Beaten by a better team on the day though some refereeing decisions did not help.
Two players ill and two returning from long term injuries also disrupted the side and we never were really in the game after the first 10-15 minutes. Disappointing all round.A yellow card against BJ for a supposedly high tackle was very harsh after 15 minutes and it allowed Skerries into the game and then just when we were getting some momentum in the second half a smart interception “killed” the game. Skerries backs were superb on their wide pitch and stretched us all the time.
