CIYMS registered two home wins on Saturday and played some fine rugby in the process.

Dromore are new to their league and battled well to hold their own. the step up is rarely easy and with determination they will succeed. The CI team ran out coinvincing winners.

UUC are playing their second season in Q2 and came out the stronger in the first 10 minutes of their game against CI I XV. The students fitness and determination to improve was apparent. CI’s experience showed and as the game progressed they ran out the winners.

This CI side are steely, determined and clinical, they may not have had their best game against CI but some of their attacks where superb not to mention critival turn overs in the ruck at crucial time sin defence and a solid if not strong scrum. Again and again they disrupted the UUC attack.

A very capable performance indeed from both CI teams. UUC will take some heart from picking up a losing bonus point, and Dromore are suffering from a lack of personnel arriving at CI with some men short which did not make for the best of starts.
