Make-A-Wish® grants wishes to children aged between 3 & 18 living with life threatening medical conditions.
Each year, children around Ireland bravely struggle with life-threatening medical conditions and emotions such as anxiety, despair and an uncertain future. Having their wish granted to be a firefighter or a ballerina for a day or meet their favourite sporting celebrity boosts their strength and outlook on life, in addition to providing joy to the families that witness their special day.
Every 25 minutes, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wish of a child around the world. That’s more than 20,000 wishes every year. Over 230,000 wishes have been granted since 1980. In Ireland over 1,300 magical wishes have been granted sine 1992.
