CELSIUS UK&I EXPANDS GLOBAL AMBASSADOR ROSTER WITH FOUR ELITE ATHLETES

Footballers Declan Rice and Georgia Stanway, Olympic sprinter Rhasidat Adeleke and rugby star Tom Curry have all joined Team CELSIUS(R).

United Kingdom, May 2025 – CELSIUS(R), the functional energy drink brand, continues its forward momentum in the UK & Ireland with the addition of four world-class athletes to Team CELSIUS. Arsenal and England midfielder Declan Rice, Lioness midfielder Georgia Stanway, Irish Olympic sprinter Rhasidat Adeleke, and England rugby flanker Tom Curry are now officially part of the impressive global roster.

Each ambassador has been carefully selected for their drive and dedication to be their best–values that align perfectly with the CELSIUS LIVE FIT(tm) lifestyle. As athletes competing at the highest levels, the combination of caffeine with zero sugar, added vitamins, and refreshing, fruit-forward flavours makes CELSIUS the ideal partner for powering through their active schedules.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Declan, Georgia, Rhasidat, and Tom to Team CELSIUS. As we continue our expansion in the UK, having these incredible athletes on board emphasises our commitment to supporting those who are motivated to achieve their goals.” said Carlotta Cattelani, Head of Marketing, UK & Ireland at Celsius.

Declan Rice, praised CELSIUS for its role in his game-day preparation: “I’m so excited to join CELSIUS, the opportunity was too good to turn down–not just because of how great the drink is, but also the top athletes already working with them. As a box-to-box midfielder, fuelling right is key, and CELSIUS gives me that energy boost with zero sugar, helping me to stay sharp and to combat fatigue so I can go the distance every game.”

Georgia Stanway, a key player for both club and country, emphasised CELSIUS’ role in her endurance: _”Football is a high-tempo game, you need to stay sharp for 90 minutes and even into extra time. CELSIUS gives me the energy I need to help me focus, dig deeper, and fight fatigue so I can perform at my best–whether I’m on the pitch for club or country, or just pushing myself in the gym.”

Rhasidat Adeleke, a rising star on the track, highlighted the importance of sustained energy: _”Every second counts on the track and competing at the top requires the right energy. That’s why I’m so excited to partner with CELSIUS–it keeps me energised, especially through my long & demanding days. It allows me to reach my best when it matters most. CELSIUS fuels my performance.”

Tom Curry, known for his relentless energy on the rugby field, shared:  “I’m super excited to join the CELSIUS team as a brand ambassador! Ready to fuel my performance, CELSIUS gives me the energy I need and helps me focus so I can perform at my peak, so this partnership feels like a natural fit.”

In addition to Team CELSIUS, the brand is also partnering locally with the Battle Cancer Challenge and will be onsite at the Manchester, London, and Scotland events in May, October, and November, respectively. This follows a successful outing at Battle Cancer Dublin in March.

The third largest energy drink in the US market, CELSIUS is available nationwide in major retailers such as Tesco, WHSmith, Amazon, Asda and Morrisons. To find a retailer near you, visit uk.celsius.com/buy-locate .
