CARRICKFERGUS YOUTH RAISE £750 FOR I.R.F.U. CHARITABLE TRUST AT THEIR ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER.
Every year Carrick Youth raise funds for charity and this year the boys from U13, 15 AND 17’s donated £10 each in the form of a ballot to win a framed and autographed Ulster jersey, in aid of the IRFU Charitable Trust. The purchase and framing of the jersey was funded by Mrs Mattie Brownlee; a long term supporter of Carrick, Ulster and Irish Rugby.
Chris Henry kindly undertook the job of having his teammates autograph the Ulster jersey. There was great anticipation on the evening of the dinner and President John Strange drew out the winners name- U15 loose head prop Rory Magill who was delighted with his much coveted prize. Well done Rory and well done boys for raising the £750 for our most important Irish Rugby Trust Fund.
