The official re-opening will take place on Saturday 3 September at 12 noon. The transformation was made possible by the incredible generosity of Tom Simms, a life-long member of the Club. The official reopening will be marked by the unveiling of a plaque in memory of Tom after whom the grounds will be renamed.

The opening ceremony will be followed by a lunch before the 1st XVs first league game of the year against local rivals Larne Rugby Club I XV.
