Briterome, Bangor: Hardware/Houseware Shop – since 1930

We are a small independantly owned hardware/houseware shop with everything you could need for around the home and garden.

We have been trading in Bangor, Northern Ireland since the 1930’s. We are unsure as to the excect date but we our sure it was started pre second world war. Briterome may have changed hands a few time over the years but it’s still the same traditional hardware shop. Selling everything from a teapot to a sledgehammer and everything in between.

This website well hopefully take us to people that can’t come and talk to us in person. It’s still very early days for this site, so if you have question about anything diy or cookware related give us a call or email.
