Ballymena Rascals Off to a Flier!

Ballymena RFC Rascals 2011/2012 are off to a flier this season with the weather thankfully holding for the first 8 weeks all sessions have taken place with record numbers attending. Excitement each week is high and skill levels are on the up with the basics of running with the ball in two hands and passing across the body the focus so far.

The annual family quiz was held on Saturday night with 13 family teams taking part, this year the theme being Music. 3 teams eventually stood clear of the main body, in 3rd place “The 58th Rascal”, in 2nd place “The Wooden Spoon Co” and by 1 point the winners were team “RWC 2011”. A great time was had by all with dinner provided by the ladies section a welcome sustance to well quized grey matter at half time.
