The AW14 menswear collection from Firetrap Blackseal takes inspiration from gothic atmospheres

This industrial rebellious style mirrors the signature feel of the brand with a darker edge, allowing for a smarter work-wear themed wardrobe combined with classic wardrobe staples to dress down for leisure. Clean cut designs and premium fabrics are integral to this collection and feature across chunky knitwear, PU leather jackets and a selection of denim, for a collection to suit every stylish individual. Casual tees and distressed denim combine with structured jackets for an urban and casual injection.
The colour palette plays with hues of blue including true navy, indigo and ink, interjected with strong tones of charcoals, khaki greens and burgundy. Textured materials are key for AW14 and the Firetrap menswear range engages cosy wools, mélange fabrics and brushed flannels in mix-and-match materials to create subtle texture contrast. Textile surfaces of shirts and polos are brushed or peached, to make for softer cottons and a more playful delivery of contrasting light flannels.
