In 1992, Armstrong Beattie set up his own tyre and exhaust centre, just off the ring road in Bangor, Co Down. Having worked within the industry for 20 years, he had gained a wealth of experience and knowledge, which he was able to instil into his own business from day one.

In 1994, Armstrong was joined by his eldest son Simon, who has since helped to drive the business forward and also encourage a high level of customer service. Over the next 13 years, the family business has continued to grow, and as a result, a new and more prominent purpose-built service centre was opened at 10 Balloo Drive, Bangor, with both convenient car parking and disabled access/facilities.

In February 2008, Armstrong’s younger son Andrew also joined the business. Together, Armstrong, Simon and Andrew are focused on the continued development of & improvement to the level of service offered to their customers.
