Armoy RFC I XV v Ballymoney RFC I XV Action Shots from a superb game in Minor League East 1 on 06/09/2014 NOW LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Armoy will celebrate 40 years as a club this season, there can be no doubt that Tom Christie and his son Gareth will be acutely aware of the significance of this. The game on Saturday against Ballymoney 4s was played at a ferocious pace. The good organisation in defence and attack of both teams showed in a very tight first 15. The Ballymoney scrum half Benjy Van Der Byl was instrumental in a series of tries when he came on and the Ballymoney pack and pack line ran in a few magical scores to push ahead in the 1st half.

Armoy rallied immediately and put together some magical wing attacks and a number of well worked set peices on the Ballymoney 5 meter combined with some sensational foot work from back rows and centres cut a swathe through this strong Ballymoney team on several occasions.
