the team has been training now for the past 6 weeks working on key rugby skills and squad conditioning with input from Antrim based “Six mile fitness”

Players Michael Hogan, Peter Mcwhirter, Benji Cathcart, Scot Mclean and Matthew Hadden have been involved with both the Ulster and Irish student teams with Matthew going on to play for Ireland A vs USA on St Patricks day.

A team of Antrim Eels player and Supporters are heading to Belfast on the May Day Bank Holiday to take part in the annual Belfast Marathon.
A decision has been made by Club President Pascal Mulot to raise funds for Autism NI, a charity which has close links and meanings to players and supporters alike. And have already reased £100 from a recent night at the races event and had the cheque hand over to Autism NI at a recent training session

Super League club the Huddersfield Giants are the partner club to the Antrim Eels. The Eels hope to benefit from the invaluable advice the Giants can pass onto them in regards of training regimes etc and any publicity they may offer to promote our league on the mainland.

Training sessions are Tuesdays & Thursdays 7:30 – 9:00 at Antrim rugby club Allen park
