TV3 have confirmed their team for coverage of the Rugby World Cup later this year in England and Wales.
The network will screen all 48 matches of the competition with former Irish captain Keith Wood, Irish Times columnist Matt Williams, former Munster and Ireland scrumhalf, Peter Stringer, current Leinster flanker Shane Jennings and former Irish fullback Hugo McNeil forming the core of TV3’s panel. Commentators include Irish Times columnist and former Leinster captain, Liam Toland, Sky Sports’ Stuart Barnes and Conor McNamara.
Murray Kinsella, a former player in the Munster Academy, will provide analysis with Sinead Kissane and Matt Cooper also among the broadcast team.
“We have assembled a team of contributors with differing views on the game but all with two things in common- they share impeccable rugby credentials and they are all excellent communicators,” said Niall Cogley TV3 Group Director of Broadcasting
“We look forward to September in what promises to be a tremendous sporting occasion.”
The World Cup kicks off on September 18th and runs until October 31st.
