Malone hold on to win a close encounter against Shannon, the final result saw Malone take the win by 37-34 in their final game of the season.

With over 200 people attending a pre match lunch at Gibson Park, both teams did not disappoint the spectators as they put on a thrilling display of entertaining rugby – scoring nine tries. Malone dominated the opening half scoring four tries and building up a commanding 29 – 13 half time lead.
