We operate a transparent system of reporting our traffic stats to you. To put it simply our google analytics report is avaiable to anyone who requests it.

Google anaytics shows a weekly unique visitor rate to www.intouchrugby.com of 12,000+ thats 12,000+ unique visitors per week. They leave a monthly footprint of 100,000 to 180,000 page views!!!!!!!!! This is verifiable!

Many sites will mistakenly quote their hits as unique visitors. For example if a website quotes 100,000 unique visitors per month but will not let you see their google analytics report (google analytics is accepted as an independant and reliable source of traffic statistics) then it is likely that this is based on a non industry accepted source.

More over you cannot rule out the fact that they are making this figure up or that they have mistaken hits for unique visitors.

Two sites with the same number of unique visitors could have vastly different hits because hits counts the number of pictures and graphics and css scripts on a web page, so if a web page has 100 pictures to it then one unique visitor will register 100 hits just by loading that page up. If a site has only two pictures on it then a unique visitor will register 2 hits just be opening that one page. Be wary of those quoting hits!
