| Cargoes Cafe and Deli was set up in 1993. Situated on the Lisburn Road, Cargoes was one of the first cafes in Belfast to serve cappuccinos, espressos and offer a modern menu. Nearly sixteen years later, we are more determined than ever to give our customers varied and interesting food both in the cafe and delicatessen.
Cargoes has been nominated on three occasions or the UKTV Food Awards and was named as Best Breakfast in N. Ireland in the Observer food monthly 2007, It is featured in both the Bridgestone Guide and Georgina Campbell’s Guide to Ireland. Our aim has always been to provide fresh, healthy, interesting food, free from artificial additives, at an affordable price. In our kitchen we prepare all our food daily, from scones and soup to lunch specials and desserts, with emphasis on quality, freshness and above all taste. We believe that food is a metaphor for life and is therefore something to be celebrated and enjoyed.
