Byrne (Back Injury) Ruled out of Ireland Under-20 Squad, Cork Constitution’s Tomás Quinlan is into the squad

Byrne Ruled out of Ireland Under-20 Squad

There has been a late change to the Ireland Under-20 Squad to travel to Italy for World Rugby Under-20 Championship.

Outhalf, Ross Byrne has been withdrawn from the squad due to a back injury. He will be replaced by Cork Constitution’s Tomás Quinlan. Quinlan is uncapped at Under-20 level.

The tournament is taking place in Parma, Italy from the 2nd – 22nd of June.

Ireland share pool C with Argentina, Scotland and New Zealand and open their tournament against Argentina on Tuesday, 2nd June in Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi, Parma.

TG4 will be broadcast Ireland’s matches live from the World Rugby Under-20 Championship.
